Eating less at meals or while snacking helps you achieve a flatter stomach contour overall.

Yogurt. Individuals who get their daily recommended amount of calcium from yogurt, versus other calcium sources, lose more inches from their waist than those who consume other calcium-rich foods, according to a recent study published in the International Journal of Obesity. Why? Scientists believe that the probiotic bacteria found in yogurt helps keep digestion running smoothly, thereby reducing bloating, gas and constipation. With less bloating and other digestive issues, the abdomen looks flatter.

Eggs. In order to get a toned tummy, you need an ample amount of muscle mass, throughout both your abdomen and your entire body. In order to gain muscle mass, your body needs protein and protein-building amino acids. Eggs contain both, making them a good tool to help build muscle and thus firm up the abdomen.
